Local residents and staff and volunteers from local organisations came together on the evening of Wednesday 11th December for the 5th annual Kersal festive sing-along organised with Kersal Forum at Salford Sports Village. Yogurt Pots nursery and after school club children sang us some beautiful carols and everyone tucked into a delicious hot pot and enjoyed apple pies and mince pies for dessert.
Father Christmas was a big hit, with over 50 children seeing the big man and receiving a gift. Several lucky residents also won themselves an early Christmas present including a £25 gift voucher, boxes of chocolates and toiletries sets in the free raffle.
It was great to see everyone getting into the festive spirit with staff, residents and our lovely volunteers working together.
